Broadcast Mode

Dice Queen’s Stream Mode is tailored for those who broadcast live tabletop RPG sessions on Twitch, YouTube or record content for podcasts and videos.It turns your campaign into a professional graphic overlay compatible with streaming software like OBS Studio, Streamlabs and vMix.

How the overlay route works

Dice Queen provides a dedicated URL for each campaign:

Ultra-light and clean page: Contains no buttons, navigation bars, chat or VTT interface elements.
Native resolution 1080p at 60 FPS: Perfect for being added as a Browser Source in OBS Studio.
Transparent background or Chroma Key: Set the background to 100% transparent to overlay your Discord or Zoom cameras, or use green/blue chroma key.

Broadcast Mode Features

1. Narrator space and player slots

Configure the narrator’s camera space with a unique badge and social identifier (e.g.: @narrador).
Create up to 6 simultaneous slots for players.
When linking a character sheet to the webcam slot:
The portrait renders the character’s active emotion in real time;
The character’s name adopts the colors of the card system;
The vital bars (HP, Sanity, Mana) are updated live whenever the character suffers damage or healing!

2. Overlapping logos and brands

Add up to 5 images or logos of your channel, sponsors or campaign title, positioning them freely across the canvas.

16:9 visual layout editor

Behind the scenes of the campaign (Transmission tab), you will find the Visual layout editor:

7 suggested layouts (Presets): Choose between established distributions (Solo, 1 cam, 2 cams, 3 side cams, 4 grid cams, 5 or 6 compact cams).
Magnetic effect (Snapping): When dragging elements, cyan guides automatically align the edges and sizes, ensuring perfect symmetry.
Natural aspect ratio: Images and logos preserve their original geometric proportions without distortion.

Setting up in OBS Studio step by step

On the campaign screen, click the “Transmission” button in the top header and copy the page link.
In OBS Studio, create a new source of type “Browser Source”.
Paste the copied URL into the address field.
Adjust the Width to 1920 and the Height to 1080.
Check the custom frame rate option for 60 FPS.
Finish adding and position the source over your broadcast layout.
