Dice Queen was built with a web-first mindset, ensuring you have the best possible experience whether on an ultrawide computer monitor or on a tablet or smartphone screen.

Screen modes and smart adaptation

The application monitors the size and aspect ratio of your screen to organize the interface comfortably:

1. Computers and wide horizontal screens

Optimized space: When the window has a wide width (equal or greater than 1024px in landscape mode), secondary panels (such as chat or item details) work in push mode.
Simultaneous viewing: Chat slides smoothly alongside the token or stage viewer, allowing you to enter and roll dice without covering up your character’s important information.

2. Cell phones, tablets and vertical screens

Elegant overlay mode: On screens with a width less than 1024px or oriented vertically (portrait mode), opening chat or other menus triggers an overlaid floating drawer.
Focus without compression: The plug or stage maintains 100% of its useful width without being squeezed.A dark semi-transparent background appears behind the drawer;To close it and return to the previous view, simply tap the dark area or the close button.

For the player, access to quick tools was designed to be identical in any orientation:

On the computer (horizontal): A compact and collapsible menu is available in the corner of the stage screen.
On cell phone (vertical): The button at the top opens a complete side drawer coming from the left.

Both offer exactly the same essential features:

Active items delivered by the narrator.
Your linked cards (with the option to create a new one or import from the library).
Achievements unlocked in the session.
Customization of themes and data.
Quick settings and option to exit the campaign.

Tips for those who use a tablet as an auxiliary screen

If you are the narrator at the table and play with a main computer, you can open Dice Queen on a tablet connected to the same campaign to use as a dedicated Sound Table, triggering music and effects with quick taps on the touch screen!
