Stage Mode

Stage Mode is the narrator’s real-time command center in Dice Queen.Inspired by the workflow of professional broadcast software and the narrative density of visual novels, it was designed for those who want to narrate at an agile pace, changing scenes, portraits and music with surgical agility.

Stage Mode interface structure

The Stage Mode screen organizes everything you need without requiring you to open tabs or switch windows:

Conducting a scene step by step

1. Set the location: In the background list or Creating and using scenes list, click on the desired card.The viewer immediately updates the scenario for all players.
2. Position who is speaking: In the portrait column, click on the corresponding character or NPC avatar to project it onto the stage.
3. Change the soundtrack: Start the suspenseful music and adjust the volume with the bottom control without leaving the screen.
4. Trigger a dramatic effect: A click of the thunder or gunshot button instantly plays the sound in stereo for the group.

Real-time search and filters

On top of Stage Mode, you have:

• Textual search bar: Enter part of the name of a background, NPC or song to filter all columns instantly.
• Active tag selector: Filter the entire screen to only display materials marked with specific tags (e.g.: "taverna", "combate-chefe").See Organization with tags.

For scenarios where combat requires gridded tactical movement, you can transition at any time to Map Mode.
