Campaign modes overview

To provide maximum control and immersion, Dice Queen divides the narrator’s experience into five specialized modes.Each mode was designed to suit a specific moment in your RPG session.

The five control modes

1. Backstage (The dressing room at the table)

This is where the magic is prepared before and during the session.Behind the Scenes, you add and organize:

Backgrounds (.webp, .png, .jpg);
Videos and cinematic cutscenes (.webm);
Music, ambience and sound effects (.ogg);
Sheets of NPCs, monsters and items;
Ready-made scenes that combine everything in one click.

2. Stage Mode (Visual novel narrative)

The dramatic heart of Dice Queen.A high-density interface where you change scenarios, trigger scares, project portraits of speaking characters and control the soundtrack with maximum speed and without stuck transitions.

3. Map Mode (Tactical Combat)

When diplomacy fails and initiative is rolled, Map Mode offers the classic VTT experience:

Checkered grid with distance measurement and adjustable scale;
Circular tokens with dynamic life bars;
Fog of war and positioning of monsters and obstacles.

4. Soundboard (Sound Console)

A panel dedicated exclusively to the auditory environment.Allows you to manage playing music tracks, individual ambient volume and trigger an array of quick sound effects (SFX) with a single touch.Perfect for running on a second screen or tablet.

5. Broadcast Mode (Overlay for OBS)

An ultra-light page with no interface buttons (/campaign/:id/stream) designed to be inserted as a Browser Source in OBS Studio or Streamlabs.Broadcast the stage with dynamic portraits, webcams and real-time life bars for your lives.
