Rest and recovery
After surviving dangerous ambushes and exhausting investigations, the characters need to regain their energy.Dice Queen offers integrated short rest and long rest mechanics to automate the restoration of vital points.
The two types of rest
According to the rules of the system used by the table, rest is divided into:

- Usual effects:
- Partial recovery of Effort Points or Mana.
- Possibility to spend hit dice or quick healing resources to restore part of the Hit Points (PV).
- Skill recharge with use limit per scene/short rest.
2. Long rest (Long rest)
- Narrative duration: A full night of safe sleep (generally 8 hours) in a protected place.
- Usual effects:
- Full restoration of Life Points and Effort Points/Mana.
- Reduction of exhaustion levels and relief of mental stress states.
- Recharge daily spells and master skills.
