Transferring ownership

In Dice Queen, each campaign has a single official owner person, responsible for table governance, even when there are several narrators helping to run the game.

Difference between owner person and narrator person

• Narrator (Co-master): Has full access to all game modes (Backstage, Stage, Map, Sound, Broadcast) and can edit sheets, add materials and direct the story with complete freedom.
• Owning person: In addition to narrating, they have sovereign control over the existence of the campaign.Only the owner can permanently delete the table or transfer ownership to another narrator.

How to promote someone to narrator

If you want another player to help with the narration:

1. Open the campaign and navigate to the “People” (Participants) tab.
2. Locate the card of the player you want to promote.
3. In the options menu (...), click on “Promote the narrator”.
4. From that moment on, she will have immediate access to the Backstage and master tools.

How to transfer campaign ownership

If you need to step away from the table or hand over definitive command to another teacher:

1. Go to the “People” tab.
2. Make sure that the person who will receive the campaign has already been promoted to narrator.
3. Click the options menu (...) next to her name and select “Transfer Campaign Ownership”.
4. Read the confirmation notice carefully and confirm the operation.

[!NOTE] When transferring ownership, you will continue as the narrator of the campaign, but you will lose the exclusive power to exclude and govern the ownership.
