How to roll dice

Rolling dice in Dice Queen is easy, fast and flexible.You can click dedicated buttons or type simple formulas directly into the chat text field.

The quick data buttons

Just above the chat typing bar, you will find a row of quick shortcuts with the most popular data: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100.

One click: Clicking the d20 button automatically inserts /r 1d20 into the chat.
Sequential clicks (Quick increment): Clicking on the same button several times in a row increases the quantity instantly (e.g. the second click becomes /r 2d20, the third becomes /r 3d20).

Basic command syntax (`/r`)

To manually roll any combination, type /r followed by the formula:

/r 1d20 + 5
/r 2d6 + 3
/r 1d100

Mathematical operations supported

The data engine accepts complete arithmetic calculations respecting the mathematical orders:

Addition (+) and Subtraction (-): /r 1d20 + 4 - 2
Multiplication (*) and Division (/): /r 2d6 * 2
Parentheses to force precedence: /r (1d6 + 2) * 3
Rounding: floor(...) (down), ceil(...) (up) or round(...) (nearest). Example: /r floor(1d20 / 2)

Context text (Flavor text)

You can identify the scrolling intent by adding up to two pairs of square brackets to the end of the command in the format [Título] [Descrição]:

/r 1d20 + 5 [Ataque furtivo] [Tentando acertar a fresta da armadura]

Dice Queen displays the title above the result and the explanatory description below, making the action much clearer and more cinematic for everyone at the table.
